Jo Leinen wants Committee to work more intensively on European reflection period - Unanimous adoption of Shausberger-Tope Opinion

Brussels, 18/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - At its 13 October plenary session, the Committee of the Regions (CoR) adopted the opinion by Franz Schausberger (EPP, Austria) and Lord Tope (ALDE, UK) on the future of Europe (see Europe 9046). This opinion follows a submission from the European Parliament, making the CoR the first institution to give its views on the issue.
