07/10/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control is recruiting the future members of its six scientific groups: -airborne diseases (including influenza); -diseases which can be prevented using a vaccine; - sexually transmitted diseases and viral diseases transmissible by blood; -food- and water-borne diseases, diseases of environmental origin, and zoonoses; - anti-microbial resistance and nosocomial infections; -serious imported diseases and other travel-related health issues. The call for applications was published in the Official C 244 A of 4 October 2005. The candidates have 30 days to express their interest in the positions.
