30/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Confederazione italiana agricoltori (Cia) and the Legambiente are to present a proposal on Community measures aimed at combating agro-piracy and counterfeit foods to the European Parliament on 5 October, in Brussels. In a press release, the Cia and the league for the environment stress that, each year, Italy loses over EUR 2.5 billion due to the growing assault of agro-piracy on international markets.
