30/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - The EUROCHAMBERS plenary assembly, which met in Stavanger in Norway, has elected Pierre Simon, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Paris, as president of the organisation (which has members in 44 countries and represents over 18 million companies). Mr Simon will take up his post on 1 January, succeeding Christoph Leitl, who had been at the head of EUROCHAMBERS since 2001.
