30/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has proposed to extend until 31 December 2006 the option for Finland to limit imports of beer by travellers from third countries, notably Russia, to sixteen litres. Technically, this exemption will modify 69/169/EEC of the Council on the exemption for tax on turnover and excise levied on imports in the field of international travel.
