Galileo moves towards cooperation with Saudi Arabia

Brussels, 28/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - During a Galileo Information Day organised in Jeddah on 26-27 September 2005 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Saudi authorities formally requested the delegations of the Commission and European Space Agency (ESA) to participate in the Galileo programme. The Commission is set to prepare a recommendation for the Council concerning cooperation in satellite navigation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. International agreements on Galileo have already been signed...
