23/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - The prize-winners of the 17th EU Contest for Young Scientists were announced on 21 September at a ceremony in Moscow. The prizes, worth a total of EUR 28,500, were presented by Achilleas Mitsos, the European Commission's Director-General for Research, together with Alexander Fursenko, Russian education and science minister.
