23/09/2005 (Agence Europe) - A new Italian economics and finance minister will be appointed very shortly. On Thursday evening, the day after Domenico Siniscalco resigned (see Europe 9033), the Italian prime minister announced that Guilio Tremonti, former finance minister, would be returning to the post he occupied in 2001 and 2004.
