30/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera of 30 August reports that at the 1st September meeting of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank, the governor of the Dutch Central Bank, Nout Wellink, will probably question his Banca d'Italia counterpart about its behaviour in the failed takeover bid by Dutch bank Abn Amro of Italian bank Antonveneta.
