BSA in favour of Commission study on collective and cross-border management of copyright

Brussels, 24/08/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Business Software Alliance (BSA) has welcomed in a press release the Commission's desire to breathe new life into competition in Europe in terms of granting cross-border licences for online music. It agrees with the Commission's analysis that the possibility for the copyright holders to choose one single royalty collector for the whole EU would benefit the European online music market.
