State aid to Italian bergamot producers

Brussels, 05/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission approved Italian State aid of EUR 6.2 million in favour of producers of bergamot and essential oil of bergamot in the region of Calabria, Italy. Approval is nonetheless subject to compliance with a number of conditions (technical adjustments to the rules on State aid).
