04/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - According to initial estimates by Eurostat Euro-zone inflation stands at an estimated at 2.1% in June 2005. It was 1.9% in May. This level had already been reached in March and April 2005. The business confidence indicator improved for the first time this year, following a more positive assessment of industrial production by business leaders. Economic confidence for companies and consumers also slightly improved by 02 points in the euro zone, therefore putting an end to an almost uninterrupted negative cycle since October 2004. The indicator, however, worsened by 0.3 points in the EU25 but the fall was less pronounced.
