04/07/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given its blessing to plans for the German company Edelstahlwerke Buderus to be taken over by the Austrian company Böhler-Uddeholm. Both companies are present in the sector of specialist steels, Böhler-Uddeholm owning production sites in Austria, Sweden and Brazil and Edelstahlwerke Buderus in Germany and France.
