24/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, the Council will adopt in “point A” the European Union action plan 2005-2009 to combat drugs, the European Commission announced on Friday, with a view to the International Day Against Drug Abuse on 26 June. On 16 February, the Commission had suggested the action plan which, presented in the form of a table with timetable, proposes to coordinate and strengthen operational cooperation, exchange best practices and carry out studies.
