EU trusts agreement can still be reached

Brussels, 17/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 17 June, the Brussels European Council said the European Union was prepared to continue to examine ways of extending political and economic cooperation with Iran following measures taken by Iran to respond to the EU's other concerns regarding counter-terrorism, human rights and Iran's approach to the Middle East peace process.
