06/06/2005 (Agence Europe) The Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt apologised to his Dutch opposite number, Jan Peter Balkenende on Sunday after the Belgian Foreign Minister, Karel De Gucht, described him in an interview with a Flemish daily newspaper as a cross between Harry Potter and a uncharismatic bourgeois in the interview.
