06/06/2005 (Agence Europe) - At the 56th World Congress in Rome on 6-9 June the IUPT - the International Union of Public Transport called on world local and national political leaders to sign a five-point action manifesto: to organise urban areas on the basis of travellers and not vehicles; request fair prices for different modes of transport; coordination of planning of territorial and transport; reassure access for all; reinforce public transport investment.
