Creation of warning system for Member States and strengthened Community legislation in wake of Onur Air case

Brussels, 30/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 27 May the Experts Committee for air security in EU Member States decided to extend security conditions posed by Germany, Netherlands, France and Switzerland to all Member States and lift the flight bans on Turkish airline Onur Air (notably improved reparation of weight on flights) and a warning system when a Member State aims to take measures regarding an airline that fails to respect security standards.
