EUR 157 million for transport infrastructure in Hungary

Luxembourg, 20/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has decided to provide loans to a total of EUR 157 million in Hungary for the construction of the Budapest Ring Road M0 (EUR 50 mil), the rehabilitation of the railway line connecting Budapest with the border to Romania (EUR 27 million) and for the financing of smaller projects mainly implemented by SMEs and municipalities by means of EIB Global Loans extended to OTP Bank and MKB Bank (EUR 50 mil) for energy,...
