Gijs de Vries's visit to Kenya

Brussels, 02/05/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European coordinator of the fight against terrorism, Gijs de Vries, is on a visit to Kenya on 2 and 3 May. He is to meet the ministers for foreign affairs, justice and the interior. Gijs de Vries is accompanying the United Nations coordinator against terrorism, Javier Rupérez, on the visit this week of the UN's committee against terrorism to Kenya to check that obligations under the fight against the funding of terrorism are being adhered to.
