14/04/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of DuPont Dow Elastomers L.L.C. (DDE) by E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (DuPont). DDE is a joint venture formed in 1996 (and approved by the Commission) ultimately controlled by DuPont and the Dow Chemical Company (Dow) each with 50% of the shares.
