European legislation infringement procedures and public procurement in four Member States

Brussels, 17/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday the Commission decided to take Italy to the EU Court of Justice over market allocation of water defences in Sardinia. It will soon be sending a warning letter to Portugal for failing to respect a Court urling on appeal procedures, as well as to Spain and the United Kingdom for irregularities observed in public procurement adjudication.
