07/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The Ukrainian Representation to the EU denied the veracity of an article that appeared in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung last Friday (which reported on an article that appeared in the Handelsblatt) according to which Ukraine had decided to get rid of visas for EU citizens next May. The Ukrainian government is planning to get rid of visa obligations for Community citizens a the “Eurovision Song Contest” in May in Kiev (a decision is expected in this regard in the next few weeks) but it is still too premature to say that the visa obligation will be got rid of definitively after this event, explained a Ukrainian diplomat. “Discussions at the government arte ongoing”¸ said.
