European People's Party opens its doors to Moldovan Christian Democrats

Brussels, 03/03/2005 (Agence Europe) - The political bureau of the European People's Party is due to formally approve, on Thursday evening, granting observer status to the Christian Democrat Party from Moldova, the PPCD. The decision was welcomed by the President Wilfried Martens, who said that “the PPCD, which defends democracy and shares our values, could offer Moldova a European future”.
