A consortium comprising GAZ DE FRANCE and the British company CENTRICA has just won the call for tenders launched by SPE- SOCIETE DE PRODUCTION D'ELECTRICITE BELGE which is looking for a majority shareholder. It beat the Dutch companies NUON and ESSENT. SPE is the second largest electricity producer in Belgium behind ELECTRABEL, with a market share of 10%.
