Cameroon and Ivory Coast deny being in a position to invade European banana market

Brussels, 16/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - During a round table organised on Tuesday at the European Parliament on the new Community regime for banana imports (to be negotiated at the WTO: EUROPE of 2 February 2005), Cameroon and the Ivory Coast restated their resolve to keep a sufficient customs duty for bananas in place to protect their outlets in Europe.
