Brussels, 14/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - On 16 February the Kyoto Protocol on climate change, the first international treaty obliging industrialised countries which ratified it to reduce their green house gas emissions, entered into force on 16 February. In celebration of this event, the Greens/EFA at the European Parliament walked to the Schuman Roundabout in Brussels with umbrellas marked “Stop Climate Change!”
