UEAPME calls for new proposed directive on patentability of computer-implemented inventions

Brussels, 10/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - In a press release, the European Union of Craft, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (UEAPME) has welcomed the decision by the European Parliament's committee on legal affairs to call on the Commission to relaunch the legislative procedure on the “patentability of software” directive (see EUROPE of 4 February).
