Spain demands protection for Galician honey

Brussels, 09/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - Spain has applied for “miel de Galicia” to be registered in the list under the 1992 regulation on the protection of geographical indications and designations of origin. The product for which Spain is requesting the protected geographical indication (PGI) is produced and processed throughout the autonomous community of Galicia.
