09/02/2005 (Agence Europe) - The European Commissioner with responsibility for taxation, Laszlo Kovacs, is due in London on Thursday for several rounds of talks on “a range of taxation issues with a view to the upcoming UK Presidency” of the Council of the EU (from 1 July this year). According to a communication, the Commissioner is notably due to meet the Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown and Dawn Primarolo, the chair of the Committee on Harmful Tax Practices.
