In the United States, the giant P&G- PROCTER & GAMBLE (cleaning and hygiene products), is to acquire the leader in razors and batteries GILLETTE by exchange of securities for 57 million dollars. P&G is offering 0.975 of its securities per GILLETTE share. This operation will create a giant with a turnover of 60.6 billion dollars and just shy of 200 billion dollars in market capitalisation.
