26/01/2005 (Agence Europe) - Marianne Mikko (PSE, Estonia) President of the EP delegation for relations with the Parliament of Moldova, has called on the EU to designate a Special Representative for Moldova who would, in conjunction with the OECD, facilitate the peace process in Transnitria. She is also calling for the EU to participate in the border control activities between Moldova and Ukraine led by the OECD, in close cooperation with the authorities from the two countries.
