Brussels, 30/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - There is a decline in the number of drug-related deaths, a decline in the number of persons newly infected with AIDS and in heroin consumption, but concern is growing about the consumption of other drugs. These are the main conclusions set out in the 2004 annual report of EMCDDA (European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction) on the drug situation in the EU and Norway, presented on 24 November to the EP Committee on Citizens' Freedoms and...
