Brussels, 30/11/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Monday at the European Parliament, Karl-Heinz Florenz, the German Christian Democrat who chairs the environmental and public health committee and Klaus Töpfer, director of the United Nations Programme for the Environment (UNEP) launched a joint appeal for stepping up the fight for climate change as an absolute priority.
