04/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 29 October a regulation banning herring fishing by German boats in the sea off Norway was adopted, which will be in force till the end of the year. Germany has indicated that it reached its quota for the year at the end of August. The regulation has been published in Official Journal L 305 1 October 2004.
