04/10/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European employers' association has welcomed the arrival of Jean-Paul Mingasson, the outgoing director general for Enterprise at the European Commission, as general adviser to UNICE. After a brilliant career at the Commission (where, amongst other things, he held the post of deputy director general for Economic and Monetary Affairs and Director General for Budget), Mr Mingasson "agreed to put his experience and skills to the service of businesses: a fine example of professional mobility", said UNICE secretary general Philippe de Buck in a press release.
