Brussels, 16/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Union and MERCOSUR countries will be meeting in Brasilia on 20 to 24 October, to see whether it will be possible to round off the free trade negotiations, announced Brazil's foreign trade minister. If all goes to plan, the Brasilia meeting, between Commissioner Pascal Lamy and the trade ministers of the MERCOSUR group (Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay), will conclude five years of talks.
