EUROP ASSISTANCE, subsidiary of Italian insurance company GENERALI, is to acquire 95% of the capital of ICARE from AXA PRIVATE EQUITY, for an undisclosed amount. Specialised in the maintenance and revision of vehicles and the guarantee of mechanical parts, ICARE's turnover in 2003 amounted to EUR 55 million.
