Ministers rally behind Dutch Presidency's approach to Financial Perspectives for 2007-2013

Scheveningen, 13/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The 'building blocks' provide a variety of projections to enable ministers to discuss the European priorities they want, said Gerrit Zalm on Friday. The Dutch finance minister appreciated the wide support from his counterparts for the method proposed by the Dutch Presidency for the debate on the upcoming Financial Perspectives. Commissioner Schreyer also felt it was a good way of organising political debate on the Commission's draft Perspectives....
