Finance ministers agree to form a working group to look at harmonised company taxation

Scheveningen, 13/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - At their summit in Scheveningen (the Netherlands), European finance ministers made a small step towards tax harmonisation by establishing a working group to look at company taxation and launch a pilot project for SMEs. The Commission hopes the group of experts from Member States and companies can be up and running in the next few weeks.
