13/09/2004 (Agence Europe) - The new Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Terry Davis, is to meet the French Foreign Minister, Michel Barnier, in Paris on Tuesday 14 September. He will also meet Claudie Haigneré, Minister Delegate for European Affairs, and Jean-Pierre Lafon, Secretary General of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Points of the agenda for discussion include: strengthened cooperation between France and the Council of Europe and the latter's role in the European structure of the 21st century, with a view to the third summit of Heads of State and Government of the Council of Europe, to be held in Warsaw on 16 and 17 May 2005.
