Brussels, 26/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 25 August, the European Commission adopted regulations banning Spanish and Swedish ships from fishing cod in specific regions because their quotas have been used up. Under the regulation published in Official Journal L276 of 26 August 2004, Sweden is banned from fishing cod in the Norwegian Sea and the North Sea from 13 June on.
