US aluminium producer ALCOA and Australian-British BHP BILLITON are planning to float their 50/50 joint venture aluminium and stainless steel distribution subsidiary INTEGRIS METALS (USD 1.5 bn turnover in 2003, workforce of 2400) on the US stock exchange.
