25/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - Germany has exhausted its greater silver smelt quota in the waters of West Scotland, the Irish Sea, the Channel and the Celtic Sea. German ships have been banned from fishing greater silver smelt since 30 June 2004, in line with a European Commission Regulation published in Official Journal L274 of 24 August 2004.
