Brussels, 11/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - According to Wednesday's Handelsblatt, quoting Brussels sources, Enlargement Commissioner Gunter Verheugen is expected to be one of the Vice-Presidents of the Barroso Commission, with responsibility for industrial policy. According to the Dusseldorf newspaper, Barroso may choose Irish finance minister Charlie McCreevy for competition and Greek Commissioner Stavros Dimas for the internal market.
