11/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - According to a poll by Sentio-Norstat, most Norwegians oppose the idea of their country joining the EU. The last time a majority of those polled opposed joining the EU was in August 2002. Some 45% of those polled opposed joining Europe, with 42.2% favouring accession and 13% undecided. This will probably be one of the main issues of the election campaign for the general elections scheduled for September 2005.
