09/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - According to a poll carried out for Croatian TV channel HRT1, more and more Croatians oppose the idea of their country joining the EU. A year ago, 80% of those polled favoured accession, but this has fallen to 52%. The period when 62% of citizens wished to join NATO has also changed, with only 46% of those polled now wanting Croatia to join the Atlantic Alliance, and 40% opposing it.
