Banque de Belgique hopes to reduce use of one and two centime coins

Brussels, 06/08/2004 (Agence Europe) - Belgium is preparing to follow on Finland and the Netherlands' heels in reducing the volume of one and two centime coins in circulation. These coins will gradually be phased out, while prices will be rounded off to the nearest five centime figure.
