Brussels, 12/07/2004 (Agence Europe) - On Monday the European Commission adopted by written procedure, a draft directive on the introduction of a European licence for air traffic controller in order to make competencies comparable over all Community territory and to facilitate the provision of cross-border services. This proposal, which is the integral part of the European "single sky", governs all aspects of granting the licence, whose access conditions for the profession, linguistic competencies, medical and professional status are included within it.
