EUREKA and European Research Area after year of French presidency - Dutch Presidency from 1 July

Brussels, 24/06/2004 (Agence Europe) - The 11th EUREKA ministerial conference took place in Paris on 18 June under the co-chairmanship of the French Minister for Research, François d'Aubert, and for Industry, Patrick Devedjian. They took stock of the year of the French presidency of this initiative in the field of scientific research, which has 34 member countries (including all EU Member States except Malta), and which Monaco and San Marino have just joined.
